“Banshee is a pretty quiet town, but after you arrived it’s been one thing after another.”
Created by: David Schickler, Jonathan Tropper
Run time: 48-59 Minutes
Relentless unapologetic pulp. I didn’t realize that this essential vitamin was missing from my streaming entertainment until I got involved with Banshee.
Lucas Hood has just been released from prison after fifteen years. He’s a thief, he was guilty, he did his time, and now he’s out. No friends or family are waiting for him outside the jailhouse, just some bars, loose waitresses, and motorcycle riding hitmen. Trouble follows Lucas Hood. It follows him all the way to the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania.
Banshee is the type of town that has some sort of food related fair every other week. They have the best Amish crafted furniture and apple pie that’s to die for. The only problem is that the corruption and violent crime would embarrass Detroit, Baltimore, and New York City in the seventies. It’s here that Lucas Hood finds his new career. He’s the new town sheriff.
